Megan first started @asianmamajournal to record the growth of her first child. After quitting her full-time job as an HR consultant in March 2021 because of COVID, she developed the channel to also record her motherhood experience as an Asian American mom raising her little ones with Hong Kong, Taiwan and US heritage.
As @asianmamajournal grew, the channel also became a platform for Megan to express her creative juices. With her family dedicated to the cause of multiculturalism and multilingualism, Megan started creating Chinese resources for parents like her and her husband, who want to teach their children Chinese in a foreign land. Her channel also reviews Chinese teaching resources and products.
Megan lives in Stockholm, Sweden with her husband and two kids, Mack and Ray. Most of her childhood was spent in Hong Kong and the United States. She enjoys learning and teaching languages, cooking and savoring new experiences. She is currently a PhD student studying management and organizations.
